With all the web development I’ve been doing for work lately, I haven’t been blogging much. Who wants to spend 10 hours a day in front of a bunch of websites and then go home and “play with internets” for another few hours? Not me.
This past weekend, we flew to Winnipeg for Cathy and Michael’s wedding. A good, drunken time was had by all (some more than others, according to the photos…).

Our flight schedule was pretty tight, so the wedding took up the most of our visit. It was also great to see my in-laws’ new home, eat at our favourite Winnipeg restaurant, and experience the usual love-allergy relationship with the family cat.
The only downside of the weekend was that WestJet “forgot” our luggage at the Saskatoon terminal during our questionable Vancouver-Edmonton-Saskatoon-Winnipeg flight path. Nearly $2000 in new wedding outfits and my salsa-dancing essentials kit (dance shoes and contacts) didn’t get to us until 4 hours before the wedding. That meant no salsa dancing with Melissa on Friday. Cry cry. I’ll make it up to you soon, my dear!

Aww, you were in Winnipeg and didn’t give me a call? *sniff*

I would have called you up Friday for some salsa dancing if stupid WestJet hadn’t lost our luggage containing my contact lenses and my dance shoes. *grumble*
The rest of the weekend was wedding and family. But when we’re in town for Christmas, will try to round the folks up for some salsa or lindy.
