I was chatting with Lorne about what happened when I had nuked grapes in my grandmother’s microwave, but words alone just don’t do it justice. Found this clip showing you the visuals — though this still does not impress upon you the horrid accompanying smell nor the wrath of an irate and terrifying Filipino grandmother.
Haven’t tried the other suggestions…but if you do, tell me how it goes!

I am SO going to try to nuke a lightbulb in a glass of milk! If you don’t hear from me after this, be happy that I went out in glorious fashion.
Side note: what would possess you nuke grapes?

Oooh, exciting! Can’t wait to hear how that turns out. You might wanna step away from the microwave…and maybe invest in a face shield and body armor
My boyfriend at the time told me about “something cool” that happens when you nuke grapes sliced in half, with the halves set a cm apart. Not sure if I was even told what happens.
So when I tried it, there was a rainbow of blue electricity arcing between the grape halves for the entire time it was cooking. It was totally awesome but the smell didn’t go away for almost a week…

“You might wanna … invest in a FACE SHIELD and BODY ARMOR”
You do realize that you just made this endeavor immensely more appealing, don’t you? Give me a moment to look over my insurance policies…
