Yesterday’s goings-on were as pro-Canada as you can get. The morning started with a rude awakening, full of yells, band music, and cheers. When we looked outside, we realized that our block was the prep area for the Grey Cup parade. After enjoying the scenery like good locals do, we then met up with Jay for an afternoon of curling fun at the Richmond Curling Club. Kurt is an experienced curler but most were new to the game, so we as Team Blue had a great afternoon schooling Team Red, 9-2. Mostly thanks to Kurt’s terrific throws and Louisa’s spot-on aim.
