It’s been pretty hectic lately at work and home…well, if you can consider Paper Mario a hectic home exercise. Ourcolony.net has wrapped up for now, and E3 is in full swing. If you haven’t checked out the lineup of next-gen consoles, go to www.e3insider.com. The trailer for the new Zelda game is sweet! Guess you can tell what’ll be on my Christmas wish list!

On the AIESEC/quasi-AIESEC front, Berk and Jina visited us mid-April, and we tried our damndest to show them the best eats and convince them to move here. I think we have Berk convinced, but it’s hard to take the Ontario out of Jina =) It was so nice to see those two again and to have a few double dates while they were in town. We even got to try out a Turkish restaurant near Granville Island. As per usual, Berk charmed the owner into offering some off-the-menu alternatives, playing a video of Turkey on the widescreen and even into parting with a pound or 2 of homemade garlic sausage. No wonder he’s in Sales.

Melissa Tiro is in town this weekend. Planning on hanging out with her for some Indian eats Saturday afternoon. Friday is T-minus 1 year before our wedding so we may do something special that night…any suggestions? Also on our calendar: Star Wars Episode III and catching up again with Parveen (Sunday).

Speaking of movies: Kurt bought Team America: World Police last night. Did you know it comes with a free T-shirt? Large, America-style, of course. We made an evening of watching the movie and most of the makings-of special features, along with some beef fajita-ing. Man, I am so glad Kurt wanted a Weber grill for his birthday. Mmmm, red meat.

What else…oh yes, we voted yesterday, and not like we did for the federal election. Yes-Liberal (referendum-MLA) times 2. Hope all you BCers managed to make it out. Haven’t heard yet whether the referendum got the 60% pass vote it needed to approve STV. Last time we saw they were saying 55% yes. If you see any updates on that, please let me know.

Haven’t been feeling very pro-blogging lately so I’ll end it off here. G’night!
