Quiz Time: Which OC character are you?

By Karen | Wednesday, February 23rd, 2005 | No Comments »

Just had to take this quiz! I score equally as Summer, Oliver, and Marissa…take out of that what you will, as long as you don’t think of me as a suicidal, homocidal drug addicted alcoholic. You can think of me as cute and fashionable, though.

You scored as Summer. You are overly image focused and not entirely honest about who you really are. Start developing your true self to avoid ending up with a counterfit life. Focus more on culivating a personality than maintaining an image.

Take a look at Justin’s post from Valentine’s Day.

Do you remember a “Wonderful World of Disney” cartoon where 2 hats fall in love at a hat store, get separated, but find each other again when their buyers fall in love? I do, and so does Lawrence (so if I’m delusional at least it’s a mass delusion). It’s weird to find this post of a song that so lucidly brings forth memories of Sunday evenings in front of the TV, back when Disney cartoons were still popular and Nintendo was just coming out.

Man, I loved those Disney animations. Back then I thought that I would never get tired of Saturday morning cartoons. Didn’t expect the classics I knew such as the Smurfs, Rescue Rangers, Transformers, and WWoD to be replaced by Pokemon, Rugrats, and Braceface (though Sailor Moon was a welcome addition to the YTV after-school lineup).

Anyhoo, just sharing a random thought.

Quickie update.

Change of plans.

Unfortunately, having a Cuba wedding meant too many compromises for us, so we have now decided to have our wedding here in Vancouver. That also means a change of date: it will be in May 2006 instead of January. We are very excited that now we can invite more friends and family to come. While it will still be a small event, we welcome all your suggestions throughout the planning phases. Check out the photo gallery called “our wedding ideas”

After we both get over our stomach flus and the MIS Showcase wraps up this Thursday, we’ll have more time to update you on the wedding scene.

Love,
Kurt & Karen
